The Hancock Fire Department honors the men of our department and of others who volunteered to help those in need in Northern New York during the Ice Storms of 1998. Hancock sent several teams North to provide relief, and was dispatched to Depauville, NY. While there the men cleared roads, removed ice, and even milked cows to help our brothers to the north. This patch was given to our members from the Depauville Fire Department in return for this service.
